News - Skipjacks nets a new web presence.
September 01, 2008 - Skipjacks launched a new public website, www.skipjacks.com which was created in collaboration with Getfused, Inc, both firms set out to accomplish many business, design and functional goals. E-commerce, Search Engine Optimization, Integration to Open Table and easy management of content were high priorities.
Skipjacks utilized Getfused CMS’ state of the art E-commerce feature and instantly set up an online shop and began selling their gift cards. In addition, Getfused assisted in creating through a user-centered design a funnel which turns causal browsers into customers!
Above all Skipjacks wanted to improve the volume and quality of traffic to their web site. This was accomplished through Getfused’s Search Engine Optimization program. The Getfused team utilized proven SEO techniques to begin driving high-quality leads to the new site. Getfused expects the site to generate sales, grow subscriptions and increase awareness.
The newly launched www.skipjacks.com showcases the company's upscale, professional dining locations throughout the MA area while simultaneously allowing users to easily make a reservation online. Getfused was able to integrate with Open Table’s online reservation system instantly.
As Skipjacks unveiled their newest location at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Massachusetts they were independently able to add details of the location to their site. The Getfused CMS system allowed for an easy transition of information about the new location to their site and alert users in minutes.
